What the Uncommon Black Male
Educator Summit Is All About

The Black Male Educator Summit (BMES) is more than a conference— it's a movement. It is the premier gathering dedicated to empowering, connecting, and championing Black men in education at Uncommon as the vital leaders our nation's children need. This is a sacred space for those who carry the mission and the responsibility as Black Male Educators: from superintendents, principals, and teachers to deans, support staff, curriculum specialists, and school board members. We come together to build an unbreakable network, forge our collective path, and reignite our purpose. This is where the future of educational leadership is forged.

Testimonials

Derrick Nelson, Dean of Students, Uncommon Schools

“Being surrounded by community! A community of black men that are aligned in supporting our black and brown children. Also, with this being my first year in leadership, Frazier’s presentation shifted my mindset specifically around the trajectory of leadership and how you learn to handle failure less."
